We should mention that one would not need to enable Chrome sync in order to do this. The feature has been made with Google Pay, that the company is expanding to more websites on the internet. It is worth noticing that Google only started doing this once it rebranded its payment service from ‘Android Pay’, which makes sense as it shows that it is cross-platform in nature and not only limited to smartphones. Around a fortnight back, the technology giant also announced that Google Pay’s integration with PayPal will also be available to online merchants that accept the company’s payment on their websites as well as on their apps. With the new option that has been enabled, Chrome users on the desktop will get the ability to opt for a saved payment card from their Google Accounts. This option will pop-up when they will be checking out to make the payment. The users will have to enter their card’s CVC number to complete the transaction and then, they will get a receipt from Google Pay about their purchase.

In addition to this, users will also have the option of managing their credit and debit cards that are associated with their Google Accounts. For doing this, they can head to Account Settings and then tap on Payments & Subscriptions > Payment methods. We should also point out that if you use this new feature, it will not automatically enable the Chrome sync option. You will have to do that manually if you want information like bookmarks, passwords and history to be synced across all your devices. This feature definitely makes payments way easier for those who prefer to shop online and don’t exactly prefer to have Chrome synced on all their devices. There are people who would prefer to keep information on their work laptop and their personal devices separate and they are likely to benefit from it.
