This confirms rumours which began when the CEO of Xiaomi India, Manu Kumar Jain shared a tweet which said “it’s coming” surrounded by cameras in the shape of the number 108 on November 25. Now, Xiaomi’s 2019 Photography challenge has hinted that it could launch in India soon.  Along with other attractive prices, a mention of an Indian price tag for the Mi Note 10 caught everyone’s attention. The Mi 10 is said to be priced at Rs 46,832. This would be one of the most expensive smartphones by the company and going by its past record here in India, anything above Rs 20K mark by Xiaomi hardly sells. According to speculations, the announcement for the 2019 version of the photography challenge contained details of a prize called The Juror’s Choice Award, where 10 winners will get the Mi Note 10. Rumours also suggest the prizes being announced on February tell us that the Mi Note 10 will be released sometime before February of 2020. For the lesser known, the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 is the world’s first smartphone with a camera of 108-megapixel. The phone houses a penta-camera setup with a primary sensor of 108-megapixel, a 12-megapixel sensor, a 5-megapixel lens with 10 x Hybrid zoom support, a 20-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2-megapixel macro lens. The phone has a front camera of 32-megapixel for selfies and video chat. The display of the phone is an AMOLED display of 6.47-inches. The phone takes after the Mi Note series because of the curved display. The phone runs on MIUI 11 and is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor with 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The phone also has an in-display fingerprint sensor.
